Fred Thompson
Non Executive Director
Fred Thompson is a Non Executive Director at Robert Lindsay Associates, specifically tasked with overseeing our international strategy.
Fred is currently President of Fred Thompson Executive Search, a search firm specialising in Advanced Technology. Previously, he was Office Managing Director and Head of the Global TMT Practice for DHR International. Prior to DHR, Mr. Thompson was the Managing Director in Korn/Ferry International's Denver office and a Senior Client Partner in the Silicon Valley office where he conducted assignments in the new media and technology sectors.
Before his career in executive search, Mr. Thompson spent over 24 years in senior and executive management roles encompassing business development, marketing, product management and engineering. Mr. Thompson was Vice President, Communications Industry, at New Era of Networks (NEON), a leading provider of application integration software and services. Mr. Thompson also previously held senior management positions at Informix Software, Sybase, Siemens - ROLM, Sun Microsystems and AT&T Bell Laboratories (Lucent Technologies).
Mr. Thompson holds an M.S. degree in computer science from the University of Southern California and completed his undergraduate studies at Alabama A&M University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
